West Region : Several New Candidates

In the West Region, three political parties are contesting. These include the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM), Cameroon Democratic Union (CDU), and Union des Mouvement Socialistes (UMS). Several new faces have been introduced in the various lists of the three parties.
There are a total of 16 new faces amongst the 21 candidates that will be contesting for seats in the Senate. For the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM), two new names have been introduced in the list Puene Françoise and Chief Tchuetchue Mbokouko Rodrigue of Batie village in the Bamboutos Division. One new figure that appears on the CPDM list that undoubtedly attracts the admiration of party followers is, Puene Françoise popularly known as “Mami Nyanga”.
