Sports Facilities, Equipment Board : Pioneer Management Tasked To be Creative

The pioneer management team of the National Sports Facilities and Equipment Board has been installed to their functions. They include; the Chairperson of the Steering Committee, Joseph Antoine Bell, the Administrator, Félix Ewane and the Deputy Administrator, Pascaline Ekombe Wanki; all appointed on February 6, 2023 by the President of the Republic. They were installed yesterday February 22, 2023 by the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi during a ceremony at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex. Amongst other things, the Minister urged the newly appointed team to be creative and innovative to carry out their duties of ensuring the upkeep, repair, operation, safety, development and sustainability of sports facilities and equipment, as well as specific related facilities built or developed by the State.
He equally gave a rundown of the academic and professional portfolios of the newly-appointed officials which make them square pegs in square holes. He based on this to believe that the officials are up to the task and hopes that they deliver as expected. “You have the obligation to put into work your rich professional, academic and managerial experiences to bring solutions to urgent challenges,” the Minister stressed.
