Senat : The Entrepreneurs

There is a good number of economic operators amongst the 100 Senators of the period 2023-2028. Prominent amongst them is Sylvestre Ngouchinghe of the West Region, who is the President, Director General of CONGELCAM, a food industry specialised in the importation, distribution and sale of sea food. CONGELCAM is the leading enterprise in frozen fish sales in the counry given its presence in every city in the country. The enterprise has a capital of more than nine billion and employs over 2,000 persons while creating 3,000 indirect jobs. Still in the West Region is Puene Françoise, who is a real estate entrepreneur. She owns hotels and buildings which are rented for office space and other professional work. Rated one of the richest Cameroonian women, Puene Françoise, popularly known as “Mami Nyanga” is the CEO of Franco Group. One of her widely known investments is Hotel Franco, a four-star hotel. She is also the founder of the non-governmental organisation, Puene Françoise Foundation, a structure headquartered in Yaounde and offers multidimensional assistance to the population. 
Emmanuel Chatue is another well-known entrepreneur. Making his maiden entry into the House, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Canal 2 International, a media outlet that broadcasts national and international issues for Cameroonians. He also owns Sweet FM. His contributions in the audiovisual and radio industry in Cameroon has greatly helped in enhancing communication. 
There is Mba Mba Grégoire of the South Region, who is equally into the hotel industry. His investments are in Kribi and he is equally into wood industry.
