North West : Regional Assembly, Executive Unite For Peace

The North West Regional Governor Adolphe Lele La frique in his capacity as the representative of the State and the President of the Executive Council of the North West Regional Assembly, Prof. Fru Angwafo III have variously called for synergy and collaboration between all stakeholders of the Region to work for the return to peace, stability and normalcy. They made the calls in their respective speeches during the opening ceremony of the 10th ordinary March session of the North West Regional Assembly on April 17, 2023 at the Assembly’s conference hall in Bamenda. Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique told the Regional Councillors that the people were looking up to the Regional Assembly with a lot of hope and expectations on the peace and development initiative being carried out by the Assembly. He called on them to support the peace scheme. The Governor further enjoined each Councillor to ask his or herself what their contributions have been to support the Assembly in its efforts to consolidate peace in the Region. The President of the North West Regional Executive Council, Prof Fru Angwofo III in his opening speech called on all to join the crusade for security in the Region. He called on the Councillors to be lawabiding citizens and to continuously strike to be resilient as a way of moving the region forward.
