UEFA Champions League : Onana, Inter Sail To Final

Cameroonian star goalkeeper, André Onana, continues to impress with Italian side, Inter Milan. The shot-stopper recorded another clean sheet in his club’s 1-0 win against AC Milan in the return leg of the semi-finals on May 16, 2023. This feat, after the 2-0 win in the away leg semi-finals, gave Inter a 3-0 victory on aggregate to take them to the final of the Champions League.  
André Onana has thus qualified for his first-ever final of the Champions League and hopes to continue in this fine form. The Cameroonian goalkeeper made history as the first Inter Milan goalkeeper in history to keep seven clean sheets in a UEFA Champions League season after the away leg semi-finals which ended 2-0 in favour of Inter. With Tuesday’s victory, the shot- stopper climbed to eight clean sheets in a single season of the Champions league; a feat which further cements his place in the club; making his indispensability high.
