Women’s African Volleyball Championship : Competition Logo Unveiled

The Local Organising Committee of the 21st edition of the Women’s African Volleyball Championship has unveiled the official logo of the competition. The official presentation ceremony took place during the finals of the 2023 edition of the volleyball Cup of Cameroon that took place at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex on Friday June 30, 2023 in the presence of the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi. 
For the competition, Cameroon and the LOC have chosen a clean, clear, simple and memorable logo. Four major aspects stand out on the logo. First of all there is the map of Africa which shows that it is a continental competition. Secondly, in the heart of Africa is a map of Cameroon with the colours of the flag of the Republic of Cameroon to indicate the host country of the competition. Thirdly, on the map of Africa are two players on challenge to symbolise the competition, the sports challenge and finally, the grey-yellow colours gradients which design the geographical, historic and racial diversity of the countries and people of Africa.
