African Nations Volleyball Championship : Lionesses In Croatia

The Volleyball Lionesses of Cameroon begin taking part in an international tournament in Pula, Croatia today July 18, 2023. The tournament which brings together several other big volleyball nations including USA, Slovenia, Italy, Britain amongst others is expected to be a platform for the Cameroonian team to test their strengths ahead of the upcoming African Nations Women’s Volleyball Championship to be hosted in Yaounde, Cameroon as from August 14, 2023. 
It is against this backdrop that the contingent of local players that were previously polishing up in Yaounde left the country on Saturday July 15, 2023. According to reports, the delegation consisting of amongst others 14 local players first of all landed in Italy before travelling to Croatia for the International Tournament. The contingent of local players began their warm-up session yesterday morning in Pula, Croatia. It was announced that the eight professional players that were training in Slovenia were expected to join their peers in camp in Pula yesterday July 17, 2023.
