Kupe Muanenguba : Minister Elung Preaches Peace, Galvanizes Stakeholders

Fight against hate speech, promotion of peace and living together were the key messages of the Minister, Deputy Secretary General at the Presidency in Bangem on August 12, 2023.
After Tombel, it was the turn of Bangem in Kupe Muanenguba Division of the South West Region on August 12, 2023 for the Minister, Deputy Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, Elung Paul Che, to take his peace, unity and living together message to the people. In separate discussions with the ten delegations representing the different sociological components of the area, Minister Elung stated that his visit was to rekindle the old habit of meeting the grassroots people of his constituency as it used to be the case before 2017 armed separatists’ hostility in the North West and South West Regions. The key message that resonated in Minister Elung’s speech as he held discussions with the different stakeholders was the need for the preservation of peace that Kupe Muanenguba is currently enjoying. He equally reminded his constituents on President Paul Biya’s policy of unity and living together which though a reality in Kupe Muanenguba needs to be reinforced. This explains why the Minister, Deputy Secretary General at the Presidency received delegations of the Mbororos, North West and West Regions communities besides holding talks with the traditional rulers, notables, Bangem Women’s Forum, Riders Association, Councillors, administration and Kupe Muanenguba I Section of the CPDM.
