Boukemmache Abdellah and Cheick Fantamady Kanté respectively presented their accreditation documents to Minister Felix Mbayu on August 24, 2023.
The newly designated Ambassador of Algeria to Cameroon, Boukemmache Abdallah and the World Bank Country Director for Cameroon, Cheick Fantamady Kanté have presented their accreditation documents. This was during two separate audiences the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu granted to the two officials on August 24, 2023. The Algerian handed the advanced copies of his lettres of credence, accrediting him to Cameroon, and the World Bank official, a Malian national presented his lettres of introduction.
Ambassador Boukemmache Abdallah, born on April 7, 1974 has a Masters in International Relations and Strategy, obtained in 2013 from the National Institute of National Security. The Ambassador who also bagged a certificate from the International Relations and Diplomacy Institute of his country, is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Alger, pending defence. The Algerian diplomat who speaks Arabic, English and French also has a certificate in Management, obtained in 2007 from the University of Alger, and a certificate in Finance and Economics from the National School of Administration in 1999. Prior to his appointment as Ambassador, he was Director of Documentation and Archives at the General Direction of Communication, Information and Documentation at the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a position he occupied from November 2020. Between October 2018 to October 2020, he was Sub Director of the aforementioned unit and Ministry. Boukemmache Abdallah has also represented his country at the international scene. From September 2012 to July 2017, he was Counsellor at the Embassy of Algeria in Rabat, Morocco. He has equally been Bureau Chief at the General Department for Arab countries (Syria, Jordan, Lybia).
