Upcoming UN General Assembly : Cameron, USA Outline Priority Cooperation Areas

Minister Felix Mbayu received the United States Ambassador to Cameroon, Christopher John Lamora, in the course of which ideas were exchanged.
Ahead of the 79th United Nations General Assembly slated to take place in September this year in New York, Cameroon and the United States have been exchanging view points on collaboration areas and principles to guide reflections. This was the subject of an audience the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu granted to the United States Ambassador to Cameroon, Christopher John Lamora on August 29, 2023. Cooperation ties between the two countries also came under review by the two personalities.
According to a statement by the Ambassador after the over one-hour audience, they touched on a variety of issuies. “I had a really great meeting with the Minister Delegate and we talked about a lot of things. The primary reason for coming to the Ministry of External Relations was to talk how Cameroon and the United States will be able to work together in the upcoming United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York.
