North West : Santa Peace Activities Dedicated To President Biya

The people of Santa Subdivision in Mezam Division of the North West Region have once more expressed their appreciation and support to the Head of State, President Paul Biya for giving them everything in terms of development. They, on Sunday, September 3, 2023 stated their resolve to continue to work for peace and the proper functioning of State institutions with their pressing goal being the effective take off and successful academic year 2023/2024 in the Subdivision.
The Santa people gathered at the town’s municipal stadium within the framework of the end of sporting activities dubbed “Santa peace and development football finals.” Organised by the development- oriented group called “The System” coordinated by Ntumfor Fru Jonathan, the football tournament was dedicated, “To the wise man of Africa and peace champion, His Excellency President Paul Biya.” The final pitted the Young Veterans of Pinying against the Spartaco FC of Santa Town. After penalty shoot outs, the Young Veterans won 4-3.
The ceremony also served as the occasion for members of “The System” to manifest their concrete support for effective schooling in Santa Subdivision. Schools bags, books and didactic materials were given to support basic and secondary education sectors in the Subdivision.
The North West Regional Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique was represented during the occasion by the Secretary General at the Governor’s Office, George Magloire Bassileken.
