As early as 1:00 pm., fans of PWD Bamenda and Fovu of Baham were seen around the stadium playing drums, gongs and other instruments singing and dancing while waiting for the stadium gates to be open. In the stadium, the same fans of the two clubs cheered their teams with song and dance shouting at the top of their voices and encouraging the players. Despite the rain, the fans did not give up but held on till the end. After the rain, fans that stayed at home also came out and filled the grandstands.
