Limbe : Victoria United Resumes Training

Away from the turbulences encountered recently, the club is bracing up to resume the Elite One Championship this Sunday November 5, 2023.
On Tuesday October 31, 2023, Victoria United FC concluded their morning training at the Limbe Centenary Stadium. The Coach, Guy Kamguia, said his boys are ready for the day-six match to battle Avion of Nkam on the Reunification Stadium in Douala on Sunday November 5, 2023. He refused commenting the alleged dissolution of the club which had made headlines on the blogosphere. He could not also explain why Victoria United boycotted their home-match against Apejes in Limbe. “The absence of the team does not depend on me. The question should be asked to my administrative board,” he said. For the Sunday match, the coach said the team is in very high spirit, the players are focused and they know what is expected from them.
Same day at midday, a meeting gathered football stakeholders at the Limbe City Council Hall with the aim of clearing off the dark clouds hovering over football in Limbe. The Victoria United problem took centre stage. Nkwain Valentine, President of Victoria United, lamented that his team did not have a stadium where they could train. “I don’t have a field where I can train. Access to every field was refused to me.
