National Tchoukball Parade : Vogt Ladies, Valée Tchoukball Emerge Champions

The Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex was the venue of the finals of the National Tchoukball Parade that took place on Saturday October 28, 2023. Organised by the Cameroon Tchoukball Association, the competition brought together teams from across the country. The competition unfolded in the men’s and women’s categories.  Apart from the senior categories, there was equally the U10 category to give chance to the younger generation. Several matches were played in the men’s and women’s categories. The matches were played in three quarter hours per match on a dimension of a basketball court. It was another opportunity for Yaounde inhabitants to discover new techniques in the sports discipline which is still new to many. As early as 8:00 a.m. thousands of fans thronged the Warda Sports Complex to watch the event. 
In the men's final, Vallée Tchoukball Club of Yaounde beat Vogt Tchoukball Club of Yaounde 24-20 in a gruelling encounter that kept fans on their feet shouting at the top of the voices and cheering the players. Valée Tcoukball dominated the game from the start but they faced strong resistance from Vogt Tchoukball Club. Valée Tchoukball held on and carried the day beating Vogt Tchoukball 24-20.
