Cameroon-India : High Commissioner Says Goodbye

Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute, yesterday November 29, 2023 granted a farewell audience to the Indian High Commissioner, Anindya Banerjee who has come to the end of his diplomatic stay.
The Indian High Commissioner to Cameroon, Anindya Banerjee who arrived Cameroon in March 2022 and has come to the end of his diplomatic stay was at the Star Building to bid farewell. He was thus yesterday November 29, 2023 received in audience by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute.
The two personalities held broad-based discussions on the state of cooperation between the two countries, with the Prime Minister expressing the appreciation of government to some of the achievements of the Indian diplomat. After saying his goodbye to the Prime Minister, the Indian High Commissioner was handed a gift of a sculpture with the connotation of Cameroon’s culture.
Bilateral relations between Cameroon and India are friendly and progressive, with the latter having supported the former in the energy sector through the construction of a transmission line between Nkongsamba and Bafoussam. India also supported Cameron in financing the project for energy transmission between Abong Mbang and Yaounde.
The Asian partner also partners with Cameroon in promoting mechanized agriculture, as a means to combating poverty and hunger, while contributing to the socio-economic development of the country. Statistics indicate that India has mob...
