Cameroon Renaissance Movement : Kamto Re-elected National President

This is the outcome of the third ordinary convention of the party that held in Yaounde over the weekend.
The third ordinary convention of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM) which held at the Yaounde Conference Centre on December 9-10, 2023 witnessed the election of a national bureau. The eight-man bureau has at the helm of the party, Maurice Kamto, re-elected on a list system. He is assisted by five Vice Presidents with Mamadou Yakouba being the First Vice President, Noah Tiriane Balbine Nadége the second and Emmanuel Simh being the third Vice President. Barrister Ndong Christopher is the Secretary General and Fogue Tedom Alain, the National Treasurer. The two-day convention saw the participation of representatives of other political parties, trade union leaders and the civil society organisations.
In his policy speech after the election, the National President, Maurice Kamto expressed gratitude to the delegates for renewing their confidence in him, as was the case on April 15, 2018, for another five-year mandate. Noting that he is fully aware of the weight of the renewed confidence from the delegates and their expectations, he assured them that the bureau will redouble efforts to live up to the expectations facing the political party, especially the grassroots organs that have given the CRM its political force nationwide.
Stating that the party has a dignified image nationwide, he boasted of the road covered by CRM since the last convention, citing his participation in the October 7 2018 Presidential election, which according to him opened an exceptional voice and visibility for the political outfit.
