Cameroon-CEMAC Commission : Resident Representative Hands Accreditation Documents

Pierre-Guillaume Boum Bissai presented his Lettres of Introduction to External Relations Minister, Mbella Mbella, yesterday April 3, 2024.

The newly designated Resident Representative of the CEMAC Commission, Pierre-Guillaume Boum Bissai has handed his lettres of introduction to External Relations Minister, Mbella Mbella. This was during an audience yesterday April 3, 2024 at the Ministry of External Relations. The two personalities discussed enhancing ties between Cameroon and the central Africa sub regional institution.  
“It was basically an audience for me to present my lettres of accreditation from the President of the CEMAC Commission designating me to occupy the function of Resident Representative in Cameroon. The Minister and I had an overview of what is in the agenda of CEMAC and we were able to discuss about the main activities of CEMAC. You know that CEMAC is celebrating its 30th anniversary since March 16, 2024. So it is really a period for all our countries to see what we have achieved and what we can do for the future. I was very happy on how Cameroonian authorities are very dedicated to the integration process in Central Africa,” Pierre-Guillaume Boum Bissai told the press after the audience. Highlighting Cameroon’s peculiarly in the CEMAC zone, (geographical location, population and engagements towards the institution especially in promoting regional integration,” the Resident Representative of the CEMAC Commission in Cameroon also added that they reviewed activities and cooperation between the two parties with the objective of reinforcing sub regional integration and sustainable development.
