North West : Defence Forces To Improve For More Positive Results

The Defence Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Rene Claude Meka examined the security situation in the 5th Joint Military Region in Bamenda on April 15, 2024.

Cameroon's Defence Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Rene Claude Meka on April 15, 2024 appreciated the positive work defence and security forces are doing in the 5th Joint Military Region that covers the North West and West Regions to ensure security and peace. Brigadier General Bouba Dobekreo, Commander of the 5th Joint Military Region and Commander of the 5th Operational forces, cited the Defence Chief of Staff, also stating that the forces received his congratulations.
Brigadier General Bouba Dobekreo spoke to the press after the operational control and security evaluation meeting, the Defence Chief of Staff presided at the Command Post of the 5th Joint Military Region in Bamenda on April 15, 2024.  The meeting marked the first step in Lieutenant General Rene Claude Meka’s operational control and security evaluation mission for the first semester of the year 2024 that will be carried out in all Joint Military Regions throughout the country.
