Para Taekwondo : Hope For Medals

Dassi Antoinette (-67kg) and Chemogne Guilene (-47kg) will represent the country in the 2024 Paralympic Games.
Even though para taekwondo is still new in Cameroon the sports discipline is a hope for medals at the upcoming 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. Two athletes; Dassi Antionette -67kg and Chemogne Tekam Guilene -47kg will represent the country in that competition. The two athletes picked their qualification tickets during the continental qualifying tournament in Dakar, Senegal in February. Dassi Antoinette, current African champion, won the final against a Moroccan athlete in the -67kg category with a clear score of 23-7. She equally beat an Egyptian in the semi-finals. Chemogne Tekam Guilene also qualified for Paris 2024 in the -47kg category, winning a gold medal in the final against a Moroccan.
