Bafoussam : City Council Holds Ordinary Session

The Bafoussam City Council has held a two-day ordinary session to present the draft 2025 budget and its projected development plans for the population. The session that held on August 19-20, 2024, was chaired by the City Mayor, Roger Tafam, in the presence the Senior Divisional Officer for Mifi, Fofie Mbouedia Christophe, sitting as the supervisory authority and the West Regional Delegate of the Ministry of Decentralization and Local development 
Addressing the Councillors, Mayor Tafam, said the session was aimed at identifying the total cost of each activity and service, and setting up all the necessary expenditure levels and their priorities.  He said the session was in accordance with government’s policy and objectives on budget programming. He added that the City Council has initiated the budget programming approach in its Council development programme since 2020.
