Cameroon-India : New High Commissioner In Cameroon

Vijay Khanduja presented the advance copies of his accreditation documents to Minister Felix Mbayu on September 4, 2024.

The newly designated High Commissioner to Cameroon, Vijay Khanduja has officially taken office, following the presen- tation of the advance copies of his lettres of credence to the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu. This was during an audience the latter granted the former yester- day September 4, 2024 at the Minis- try of External Relations. Prior to his appointment as High Commissioner to Cameroon, he ser- ved as Ambassador of India to the Republic of Zimbabwe, a position to which he was appointed on Novem- ber 9, 2020. The diplomat has also served as Director at the United Na- tions Economic and Social Division of the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi. He has served his nation in different capacities at the Minis- try of External Affairs of India, inclu- ding BSM (Bangladesh, Maldives, Myanmar and Sri Lanka) Division, Po- licy Planning and Research Division, as well as the Communication and Vigilance Division.
