Education In The North West : Senator Ndosiri Neba Offers Didactic Materials

She awarded scholarships to best candidates in examinations organised by the GCE Board in the 2024 session and also gave didactic materials to enable them foster their education.

"Give them pens to write their future, not guns to destroy their future" said Senator Ndosiri Neba Bridget while addressing population during the excellence award ceremony she organised in Bamenda I, on September 6, 2024.
The excellence award ceremony of Senator Ndosiri Neba Bridget rallied students and pupils across Mezam who excelled during the last GCE end-of-course examinations. Senator Ndosiri Neba revealed that the academic excellence award started last year and involved only girls.  In the second edition this year, she decided that it should be inclusive because nation building involves both boys and girls as well as men and women. It is in this light that her team selected 50 boys and girls who excelled during the last GCE examinations. The objective she said, was to promote academic excellence within Mezam and also to instill, inculcate in them the notion of peace building. She added that it was an opportunity for her to encourage the students and pupils to work harder in school because they are the leaders of tomorrow. The Senator told them to shun all forms of deviant behaviours in school such as alcoholism, drug consumption, unwanted pregnancies and many others because such behaviour will only help to destroy their future.
