Colombe Sportive du Dja et Lobo : First Final, First Trophy

Colombe Sportive of Dja and Lobo emerged winners of the 2024 edition of the Cup of Cameroon after beating Aigle Royal of Menoua 1-0 in the final match that took place at the Yaounde Omnisports Stadium yesterday September 29, 2024. Colombe’s goal was scored by Duamel Boris Ekotto just nine minutes after kick off. It is the first time Colombe of Dja and Lobo is winning the prestigious trophy. Colombe’s path to the final was smooth without any defeat. Coach Richard Towa and his players trained intensively in their hide out in Yaounde before going to the historic final. 
The team's preparations were bolstered by the enthusiastic support from fans. Since 71 years of existence Colombe of Dja and lobo has never reached the final of the cup of Cameroon. The best performance of the team was in 2003 when they eliminated in the semi-finals by Fovu of Baham from competition at the Bepanda Ominsports Stadium.
