Social Democratic Front : New Political Programme Imminent

The Chairman of the party, Joshua Oshi made the revelation during a National Executive Committee meeting he chaired on October 12, 2024.

In the days ahead, the Social Democratic Front (SDF) will be presenting its new political programme ahead of the Presidential election. The revelation was made by the Chairman of the party, Joshua Osih, as he chaired the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on October 12, 2024. “We at the SDF have been working very hard and we are finalising our political programme. We will present it to the public in an event that will be held in the coming days. That programme is around four pillars and 11 key points. And I will like to say that one of the cardinal dispensations of that programme is that we propose a constitutional conference,” Joshua Osih explained as he responded to questions from Journalists on how the party is preparing for the Presidential election. The legislator at the National Assembly of Cameroon further explains that the constitutional conference, in his opinion, will be able to usher in a new social pact/contract between Cameroonians. That is, further intensifying the concept of living together and building confidence amongst the governed and those governing. The draft political programme spans the period 2025-2026.
