Africa Jump Foundation : Training Camp For Youths Launched

A two-weeks training camp was opened at the Françoise Mbango Institute in Yaounde on Thursday October 21, 2024.

Sports is an omnipresent activity in all areas of life. It holds great potential for employability, offering numerous professional opportunities. It is in this light that a two-week training camp on the theme: “Training and Discovery Camp for Young People in Sports Professions” opened at the Françoise Mbango Institute in Yaounde on Thursday October 24, 2024. Organised by the Africa Jump Foundation, the workshop brings together 54 youths from several localities. 
Speaking at the occasion, the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Issa Tchiroma Bakary called on the officials of the Africa Jump Sport Centre to instill in the minds of the participants the fighting spirit and the willingness to conquer difficulties. “Nothing can stop a Cameroonian when he is in difficulty. The living example is Françoise Mbango,” he said. The Founder of Africa Jump Foundation, Françoise Mbango said the youths should know the professions in sports so that they will have the urge to be trained. The 54 athletes aged between 15 and 30 years will for two weeks discover the realities of several collective and individual sports disciplines.
