Most recent diplomatic activities of the President of the Republic, Paul Biya in the last four months (July to October 2024) can be read in the latest edition of the publication of the Civil Cabinet of the Presidency. The 116-page bilingual magazine, “Le Temps des Opportunités,” contains high-quality picture illustrations of the President’s two visits to France and China. The magazine also highlights the election of Philemon Yang as President of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. 
The headline on the front page is a summary of various Presidential outings: "Glowing Diplomacy". Thus, as head of the Cameroonian diplomacy, the Head of State through the different outings defended the interest of his country. The diplomatic prowess of the Head of State is underlined in the editorial of the Publisher of the magazine, who is the Minister, Director of the Civil Cabinet. Titled “Paul Biya, the Metronome of Cameroon’s Diplomacy, Addresses the World with Wisdom and Purpose,” the write-up reminds readers of the advocacy the Head of State makes for Cameroon, the sub region and the African continent at the international scene. His point is buttressed with the advocacy of President Paul Biya for the continent to have a permanent seat at the Security Council of the United Nations. The discreet but very effective diplomacy of President Paul Biya yielded fruits as he succeeded in rallying the Central African sub region and the continent behind Cameroon’s candidacy for the position of President of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. 
The first international participation of the President of the Republic is at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris on July 26, 2024, to honour an invitation from the French President, Emmanuel Macron.
