Tiko New Industrial Zone : Companies Tasked To Comply With Administrative Procedures

Steadily, a new industrial zone is cropping up at the Mongo in Tiko Subdivision. The scenario is apparently an overflow of the over-saturated Bonaberi industrial zone in Douala, Littoral Region. The Mongo industrial zone counts nine industries with many other still setting up.
On an inspection tour on Thursday, November 14, 2024, in the Tiko new industrial zone, Bernard Okalia Bilia, South West Regional Governor, realised that almost all of them have not fulfilled the necessary administrative conditions to function. He observed that after obtaining building permits from the Tiko Council, the institutions hurriedly constructed and started operations.
