Cameroon-Israel Relations : Partners Examine Age-old Ties

External Relations Minister, Mbella Mbella received in audience the Head of Israel’s International Development Agency, Ambassador Eynat Shlein on December 13, 2024.
Cooperation ties between Cameroon and Israel, especially in the domain of development cooperation were on December 13, 2024 reviewed at the Ministry of External Relations. This was during an audience between the Minister of External Relations, Mbella Mbella and the Head of Israel’s International Development Agency, Ambassador Eynat Shlein, who is also the Deputy Director General at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She was accompanied by the Ambassador of Israel to Cameroon, Amnon Kalmar.
Ambassador Eynat Shlein visited Cameroon for a few days within the framework of reviewing the partnership between Cameroon and Israel in various domains and enhance them. She was received by several government officials, amongst them the Prime Minister, Head of Government. The audience with the Minister of External Re- lations was more of a practical working session to examine diplo- matic relations between the two nations that cooperate in various areas for the wellbeing of their people. Trainings offered by Israel in the domain of agriculture and innovation, scholarships for Came- roonians to study in Israel, and possible future engagements came under discussion during the au- dience.
