Diplomacy: Malian Ambassador Hands Credentials

Nina Oualet Intallou handed the advance copies of her letters of credence to the Minister of External Relations, Mbella Mbella, yesterday April 8, 2026.

The newly designated Ambassador of Mali to Cameroon with residence in Libreville, Nina Oualet Intallou has presented the advance copies of her letters of credence to the Minister of External Relations. This was during an audience the Minister granted to the Ambassador on April 8, 2026. As the maiden audience between both personalities, they discussed cooperation mechanisms with the objective of further strengthening diplomatic ties. The Minister and the Ambassador each took the commitment to work for the wellbeing of the people of their respective nations. Going by her professional career, Nina Oualet Intallou was appointed Ambassador of Mali to Gabon with competence also in Cameroon in 2024. Before that, she was the Ambassador of Mali to Japan, a position she occupied between 2022 and 2024. Besides diplomacy, the now Ambassador of Mali to Cameroon has served her country in different capacities. Between 2016 and 2020, she was Minister of Tourism and Handicraft. For a year, precisely from 2015 to 2016, Nina Oualet Intallou was the First Vice President of the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission in Mali.
