African Women’s Club Volleyball Championship: Strong Start For Litto Team

The 2026 African Women's Club Volleyball Championship has kicked off in Cairo, Egypt, with Litto Team and Mayo Kani Volleyball clubs representing Cameroon in the competition. Litto Team was the first to take the court yesterday, April 13, 2026, and delivered a positive result. In effect, they secured an opening win over Nigeria's VIP Spikers, 3-1, in Pool D. This victory sets a strong tone for Cameroon's campaign in the continental showpiece.

Litto Team Volleyball (LTV) dominated the first set, delivering an impressive display of skill and teamwork to win decisively, 25-6. They were sharp with serves, pinning VIP Strikers deep in their zone, while their attackers showed flawless coordination, leaving the Nigerians struggling to find any rhythm.

In the second set, VIP Spikers looked to have found their footing, battling hard to stay close to the Cameroonians. However, Litto Team stayed focused, with their consistency proving decisive as they edged out the set, 25-22, to lead 2-0.
