South West: Over 400 Bacc Candidates Write In Serenity

In all the four centres in the Region, no irregularities were recorded on day one
End of course examination, Baccalauréat, for terminal (upper sixth) students in the French subsystem of education is underway in the South West Region like in order parts of the country. It started on Monday, May 25, 2026, in four centres with three in Fako Division and one in Meme Division. The centres are Bilingual Grammar School Molyko Buea with 122 candidates, Government Bilingual High School Limbe has 261 candidates, Government Bilingual High School Tiko with 37 candidates, and Government Bilingual High School Kumba having 27. All summed to 447 candidates in the region. South West Regional Branch Head for Office du Baccalauréat du Cameroun, William Ayuk Tabot indicated that all the registered candidates in the four centres were present on day one giving a 100 percent for attendance. He also noted that serenity reigned in all the four centres as no case of examination malpractice was recorded. At Bilingual Grammar school Molyko Buea, the examination started at 8a.m with candidates of A, B and C series having either “Litterature ou Culture Générale” as their kickoff point. Those of D and E series had “Philosophie.” At 1p.m, A, B and C series had “Langue Française” while D and E series had “informatique” at 3 pm. The chief of centre.
