Artistic Holidays: Sixth Edition Ends Successfully

The National Museum officially brought the 6th edition of the Artistic and Cultural Holiday programme to a close, marking the end of an event that has become a key annual gathering for young people pas­ sionate about art, culture, and heritage. For six weeks, more than 70 participants took part in a wide range of enriching activities that hel­ ped them discover new talents and improve their creativity. “The mu­ seum helps pass on cultural knowledge to young people. Through this programme, we bring together children aged three to 16 years to learn Cameroonian values through activities like pottery, painting, design, crafts, dance, and theatre. After six weeks, we are proud of their progress and the talents they developed. The programme also brought together children from different cultural backgrounds, pro­ moting national unity and preserving Cameroon’s cultural identity,” said Ivan Ojang Etta, the Director of the National Museum. The closing ceremony included artistic shows, an exhibition of the works made by the participants, and the award of certificates.
