2026 National Interpools: Two Semi-finals Spots Already Sealed

M atch Day-4 of the 2026 National Interpools was played at the FECAFOOT Technical Centre in Odza and the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo on July 27, 2026. The standout of this matchday is that two teams are already certain of rea­ ching the semifinals. They are Mintack of Upper Sanaga and Elecsport Foot­ ball SA of Pools A and B respectively, with just one playing day left to close the group phase. In Pool A, Mintack of Upper Sanaga thrashed AS Sokoto of Kousseri 6-1. This victory propelled the Centre Re­ gional club to 12 points. No matter what happens on the last playing day, Mintack will finish first in the group because Mankon United cur­ rently sit second on seven points while Riziere of Noun are third with six points. Riziere of Noun were held back by a surprising defeat to Baf­ meng United (0-1). It is reported that after the final whistle some fans cau­ sed chaos at the stadium evidently out of frustration of seeing their dar­ ling team narrow their chance of pro­ gressing. In Pool B, Elecsport Football SA are calling the shots with 12 points as well. The club defeated Epervier of Ebolowa 2-1 to seal their spot at the top of Group B.
