Japan International Cooperation Agency: Celebrating Two Decades Of Bilateral Corporation

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Cameroon Office, is organizing two key events to mark the 20th anniver­ sary of its presence in Cameroon. The two-day session planned for August 4 and 5, 2026 in Yaounde, will unite officials from Cameroon’s Government, representatives of the Government of Japan in Cameroon, and JICA officials. The festivities will fur­ ther foreground the strengthening of human resources through JICA scholarship programmes in Cameroon, uniting the recently selected JICA scholarship recipients, who will be pursuing their higher education in Japan and bid farewell to former laureates from Cameroon, the Central African Republic, and Chad.
