Presidential Plan For Reconstruction: GBHS Ntamulung Bamenda Gets Modern Structures

The project implemented by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) took barely three of the five months allocated period.
Just a few days to the start of the 2026/2027 academic year, Government Bilingual High School Bamenda (GBHS) Ntamulung in Bamenda has witnessed a total transformation following the re habilitation of several components of the institution. The provisional reception took place on September 2, 2026 giving hope to the staff and students who will be the primary beneficiaries as the academic year commences on September 7, 2026. The project falls within the Presidential Plan for Reconstruction and Development of the North West and South West Regions. It was funded by the Islamic Bank and executed by the United Nations Deve lopment Programme (UNDP) which is it's implementing partner, using a Ba menda based contractor, Dreamland Connect PLC. The rehabilitation of the campus included about 27 classrooms, an office, a dinning shed, male and fe male modern toilets, a security post, discipline office, construction of retaining walls within the school premises, school fence and main gate, construction and improvement of paved walkways, construction of a flag stand, stone clad ding works as well as environmental improvements including tree planting. The rehabilitation of classroom blocks, improvement of roofing, electrical sys tems, drainage gutters, ceiling, floors, writing boards windows, doors and pain ting.
