West: Effective Resumption Of Schools In Mifi Division

Bafoussam (Mifi Division) - The Senior Divisional Officer for Mifi, Fofie Mboueda Christophe, told edu­ cational authorities in Mifi Division that children, by virtue of their in­ tellectual potential and untapped energy, constitute a great asset to the nation. He said that both admi­ nistrative and teaching staff should know that these children deserve strong motivation, adequate training, and moral guidance in order to meet the challenges of becoming future leaders. Fofie Mboueda was addres­ sing school authorities, teachers, and students on September 7, 2026, while visiting about ten schools in Mifi Division on the first day of school reopening. Accompanied by divisional delegates and other edu­ cation stakeholders, the SDO visited schools in Bafoussam I, II, and III subdivisions of Mifi, where he noted with satisfaction that the first day of school resumption recorded mas­ sive attendance in both public and private schools. At the various stops, the SDO urged teachers to always strive to instill sound academic know­ ledge in children while also develo­ ping pedagogical skills that would improve learning for the benefit of all pupils.
