Fight Against Deforestation: Actors Unify Forces

“30 million trees for 30 million Ca­ meroonians”. This was a recurrent message echoed during the press conference that was held on Monday September 21, 2026 in Yaounde by members of the International Agri­ cultural Service Firm, best known by the French acronym CIPRESA, in view of the maiden edition of the national day for trees celebration fixed for October 3, 2026 at the Yaounde conference centre. According to CI­ PRESA’s CEO, Engineer Kana Evariste, the one-day forum would unite all actors in the agricultural and envi­ ronmental sector, empower them with bankable skills, and mentor par­ ticipants on sustainable strategies in priority sectors including Agricul­ ture, Livestock, Agricultural finance, and Irrigation. Missioned to foster growth and de­ velopment of the green economy in Cameroon, Mtokam Brandon Austing, Chief of the organization’s IT depart­ ment reiterated the need for all agri­ cultural and environmental actors to unite all cards on desk.
