New reforms will be arrived at the five-day confab underway in Yaounde
The 46th General Assembly of the Council of Protestant Churches in Cameroon (CPCC) is on-going in Yaounde, on the theme “What Citizenship for peace in Cameroon?” according to the gospel of John 14:27. Chaired by the CPCC president, Rev Goyek Robert, the assembly has brought together some 50 members, which constitute delegations of Clerics from the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC), Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC), Cameroon Presbyterian Church (EPC), and Native Baptist Church (NBC).
The General Assembly that opened on May, 2, 2017 is expected to end on Sunday May 7. For five days, the ministers of the gospel are discussing issues such as the 500th anniversary of the protestant jubilee project, ending bible poverty now project in Cameroon and the dedication of the studio of the protestant Voice Radio (PVR). They are also evaluating the 2016 resolutions and setting up new visions for 2017.
