Underprivileged Receive Cash, Material Support

Over 50 persons have received financial and material assistance from the Douala II Council.

The assistance will be used as start-up funds for income-generating activities, as well as help defray medical costs. This category received between FCFA 40,000 and FCFA 100,000. Meanwhile, cash gifts of between FCFA 300,000 and FCFA 500,000 were given to families as re-establishment funds after having lost their homes in fire disasters in the municipality. Disabled persons on their part received tricycles and clutches.
