The Panthers of Gabon and the Black Stars of Ghana will be meeting today at the Yaounde Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium at 8 p.m. within the framework of match day-2 in Group C of the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. While the Panthers who won their opening match against Comoros will be struggling to confirm their place in the 8th finals by winning this second game, the Black Stars will be battling to revive their qualification hopes after losing their first game against Morocco. Though the Panthers of Gabon first played against newcomers Comoros, the team proved that they were capable of constructing their game from the defence right up to the attack and creating several scoring opportunities. They may be doing better this time around as two of their best players, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mario Lemina who all missed the first game, are likely to be part of today’s encounter.
