International Youth Fair : Preparations Intensify In Yaounde

The Minister of Youth Affairs  and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou, has challenged all actors involved in the organisation of the second edition of the International Fair for the Promotion of Youth Entrepreneurship in Cameroon to fully mobilise for a successful event to be organised in Yaounde from  December 7 to 11, 2022. He was speaking on Thursday October 20, 2022 in Yaounde, during the second preparatory meeting. The Ministry is bracing up to organise the fair alongside the commemoration of the third year of the Youth Connekt Cameroon programme.
According to the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, the International Fair for the Promotion of Youth Entrepreneurship, dubbed Siprome-Jeunes, is a great moment to demonstrate the entrepreneurship skills of Cameroonian youths at the national and international levels. The event which will be held under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, will be a forum for young Cameroonians to express their entrepreneurial skills, exchange and share experience. It will be an event that puts young people at the service of their mates. Siprome-Jeunes will be an occasion to evaluate the Triennial Special-Youth Plan no longer on paper, but through the achievements of young people who will come to present their initiatives at the Fair.
Speaking on the theme of the fair, the Minister revealed that emphasis will be laid on the government policy of import-substitution and Made-in-Cameroon products, while highlighting the pioneer villages (enterprises) created within the framework of the three-year Special-Youth Plan.
