North West, South West Regions : Strides Of Public Independent Conciliator

The Office of the Public Independent Conciliator for the North West Region has been operational since the swearing-in ceremony of the Conciliator Tamfu Simon Fai on July 8, 2021 after his appointment by decree of the President of the Republic Paul Biya on June 8, 2021. 
The Office is one of the outcomes of the Special Status granted to the English-speaking North West and South West Regions of Cameroon within the decentralization framework. The law states that the mission of the Public Independent Conciliator is to ensure fairness in the relationship between Regional and local council entities and the population, as well as individual beneficiaries of their actions and activities.
