Continental Free Trade Area : Cameroon, South Africa Discuss Implementation

Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute yesterday April 4, 2023 granted an audience to the South Africa Minister in charge of International Relations and Cooperation, Naledi Pandor.
The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute on April 4, 2023 granted an audience to the South African Minister in charge of International Relations and Cooperation, Naledi Pandor, in the course of which both parties agreed to work together to ensure the establishment of conditions which make the Continental Free Trade Area a practical reality. She added that they also expressed commitment to continue the cordial diplomatic relations that exist between the two countries, and lifting them to new heights. She was accompanied by the South African High Commissioner to Cameroon, Mandla Langa.
Going by the declaration of the South African Minister, Africa now has a very important agenda which is the implementation of the Continental Free Trade Area, and working for its success is a priority for every nation. “So we have agreed that Cameroon and South Africa must work together to ensure that we establish the conditions which make implementation of the free trade area a practical reality. “So we will look at collaborating in enhancing productive capacity and we talked about important sectors through which we could do this, particularly agriculture, education, skills development and tourism, which are all areas that are so important for countries on the continent,” Minister Naledi Pandor stated.
