Potable water supply : Three Buea Neighbourhoods Saved From Water Drought

A Petroleum company was recently hailed for rehabilitating and extending a water scheme to over 6.000 inhabitants of Buea.
The 6.000 inhabitants of three neighbourhoods of Buea, capital city of the South West Region, are now free from water scarcity that has haunted them over the years. The populations of Lower Bokoko Quarter Four, Ndongo One and Ndongo Two came out last 16 May, 2023, to receive and inaugurate their CFA multi-million potable water scheme sponsored by ADDAX petroleum Cameroon as a corporate responsibility gift. The Divisional Officer for Buea was represented by his Deputy, Violet Emanga Ajang Epse Atangana at the water inaugural ceremony in the area of supply alongside the Deputy General Manager of the donor-company, Mrs. Jessica Lengha Abega.
As the Divisional Officer for Buea cut the ribbon in the afternoon of 16 May, supported by Mrs. Lengha Abega, the population expressed their joy with songs and dances to grace the occasion.
