CPDM Regional Seminars : Chief Scribe Galvanises Militants In SW
Jean Nkuete was in Buea yesterday October 25, 2023 in continuation of a nation-wide tour to animate party seminars ahead of envisaged elections.
The Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Cameroon Peoples’ Democratic Movement (CPDM), Jean Nkuete was in Buea, South West Region on October 25, 2023, to moderate a seven-lesson seminar for militants from the six Divisions of the region.
In his opening address to militants, Jean Nkuete praised the South West as a reliable fortress of the ruling party and asserted that the region continues to gain the confidence of their National President, Paul Biya. He called for the mobilization of material and human resources for upcoming elections, the strengthening of discipline, and above all the required peace in the North West and South West Regions to create a conducive atmosphere for elections. The party Scribe urged the militants of the South West to get down to work so that tomorrow’s Cameroon can emerge greater from the awaited elections. He advised that it was time for militants to turn their back to all forms of sectarianism and quarrels which only result in demobilizing people.
The Buea training seminar articulated seven areas of interest to the party including Ibrahim Talba Malla’s lecture on party inclusion of cosmopolitan, gender, youth, minorities, and sharing during election period. A second lecture by Ndong Soumhet Benoit dwelt on the techniques of discipline as a determining factor in party success during election.
