Cameroon-South Korea : PM Han Duck-Soo In Yaounde

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, Han Duck-Soo is in Cameroon within the framework of enhancing cooperation ties between the two countries that were established in 1961. The Korean Statesman who arrived yesterday October 31, 2023 was welcomed at the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport by his Cameroonian counterpart, Joseph Dion Ngute. The Head of Government was accompanied by administrative and security officials, amongst them the Director of Cabinet of the Prime Minister’s Office, Balungeli Confiance Ebune and the Governor of the Centre Region, Naseri Paul Bea, to welcome the Korean senior official whose plane touched the airport’s tarmac at 6:10. p.m. Also present was the Korean Ambassador to Cameroon, Nam Ki Wook who introduced the Korean delegation in Cameroon to the visiting Prime Minister. 
After exchanging welcome civilities at the foot of the aircraft at 6:26 p.m., the two Prime Ministers made a brief stopover at the VIP lounge before leaving for the city centre where Joseph Dion Ngute accompanied the dignified visitor to the Yaounde Hilton hotel. The flags of the two countries were installed at the VIP lounge, indicative of a cordial welcome. 
Han Duck-Soo is on an official visit that ends today Wednesday, November 1, 2023. The high-profile personality is scheduled to have meetings with government officials and a working session between Cameroon and South Korean delegations, on aspects of common interest and collaboration domains between the two friendly countries.
