Elections Of 2023 : Winning Directives To North West CPDM

The Secretary General of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) Central Committee Jean Nkuete gave the directives in Bamenda on November 3, 2023.
The Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement has set out to consolidate and improve on its current leading position in the North West Region in the elections of municipal Councillors, Members of the National Assembly and President of the Republic expected in 2025. The party now runs 33 out of the 34 local councils, has 18 out of the 20 seats in the National Assembly, has all the seven elected Senators and all the Regional Councillors. It was with the objective to enable the CPDM consolidate and improve on its occupation of the political landscape that the Secretary General of the Central Committee Jean Nkuete used his mobilization visit to Bamenda to give practical directives. Between now and 2025 when the different elections are expected, the North West CPDM with Philemon Yang as the leader of the Regional Permanent Delegation will have to mobilise party militants right down to the level of the cells.
Jean Nkuete in his opening speech told the CPDM North West family, “We will win in 2025 because the question is to win or not to win.” He said they have come to prepare and mobilise militants so that they can give the best of themselves to ensure that the CPDM wins unquestionable victory. For this to happen, the party must strengthen and improve on working methods, focusing on internal functioning of its structures, collaboration between party leaders, elite and elected officials, have quality lists of candidates that must respect demographic and sociological components.
