At State Lunch : Officials Share Pleasantries

A State lunch was offered by the Prime Minister Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute, at the behest of the President of the Republic, Paul Biya to the President of the Transition, President of Gabonese Republic, Brigadier General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, on an official visit in Cameroon. The State lunch took place at the Hilton Hotel on December 6, 2023. Conviviality reigned at the event equally attended by other members of government, notably, External Relations Minister, Mbella Mbella, the Director of Cabinet at the Prime Minister’s Office, Balungeli Confiance Ebune, the delegation accompanying the Gabonese leader, High Commissioner of Gabon to Cameroon, Paul Patrick Biffot, amongst others.
Brigadier General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema who had made a brief stop at his suite, was welcomed at the entrance into the reception hall where the lunch was served by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute, with a handshake and in the words (translated from French) welcome to lunch. “What an honour,” was the reply of the Gabonese leader who smiled and had a facial expression of a relaxed person. Dressed in his military attire, he smiled from start till end. It was a self-served lunch, with the General Manager of the Hilton Hotel, Julien Besançon presenting the menu to the august guest, and the Prime Minister.
