Tiko : Lives Lost At Tiko-Mutengene Hill

On December 13, 2023, two accidents occurred at the same spot at Daliko Tiko-Mutengene Hill not far from SNEC office. The two accidents claimed six lives. The first incident occurred at 7 pm. A truck certainly with mechanical fault was stationed at the road side.  Another truck descending the hill was closely followed by a bike rider who upon trying to overtake the truck bumped into the station truck and died. Police identified the bike rider as Enoh Teophile Mbah. The trucks involved were matriculated LT TR 359 AK and LT TR788 AU (one truck), and ES TR 745 AA.
Afterwards, the second accident happened. Bike riders had brought a car to get the corpse of their colleague.  As they were trying to carry the corpse, a passenger vehicle matriculated LT 406 HG descended the Daliko Tiko-Mutengene Hill from Mutengene direction on full speed and crushed the bike riders who were struggling to take away the corpse of their colleague. It equally hit the stationed truck ES TR 745 AA, which was involved in the first accident.
