Barry Robert Lowen (U.K) : Development-oriented Diplomat

The British High Commissioner to Cameroon, Barry Robert Lowen, who on December 29, 2023 presented his lettres of credence to the President of the Republic, Paul Biya, has in-depth knowledge in development related topics. Cameroon is the third country where King Charles III’s envoy is serving as head of diplomatic mission, after Mali (2021-2022) and Algeria (2017-2020). Prior to his designation as British High Commissioner to Cameroon, Barry Robert Lowen worked at the Africa Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development.
